Look with your eyes, not with your hands.

Such a minute fraction of this life do we live: so much is sleep, tooth-brushing, waiting for mail, for metamorphosis, for those sudden moments of incandescence: unexpected, but once one knows them, one can live life in the light of their past and the hope of their future.

A Late Start

Slept late this morning as I didn't get to bed until well after 4am. Drinking two diet cokes to quench my 2am thirst wasn't so smart. Well, I have been in the air-conditioned comp lab oh so far removed from the carefree world of frisbee, sun burns, and fun "outside."

I think I finally understand Minimalism. It's true, if you think about something constantly, you will eventually come to some conclusions. In this case, I have really been thinking and sythnesizing for a year. I think this chapter is coming along very well and the ideas and the writing are both coming along well, but very slowly. I don't think I have labored over something this intently, or focused on the actual craft of my writing for years.
