Watched Chungkung Express tonight, by Hong Kong based filmmaker Wong Kar Wei. That's some good shit... I think I need to quit my job and just loaf around all day and watch all these amazing films out there, one director at a time. Oh wait, I don't have a job.
My weird Peter Kalb moment of the day. I swear, how can a professor send such cryptic emails to his student on a daily basis? This might take the cake of all nonsensical, misspelled, and grammatically incorrect moments though. I emailed him an abstract for my term paper on digital / internet art, this is what he replies...

No. I don't get it.
I did the math, which is about as complex as either Peter or I could handle mathematically, well, X=3.8. This number is only significant to me because 3.8 is the min. GPA to earn highest honors, summa cum laude. Is that what he means? I don't see what one lousy paper abstract in one lousy class of my entire Middlebury career has to do with the sum total of summa cum laude? Who knows, maybe he'll tell me in class tomorrow what in the hell he was talking about. Otherwise I am stumped on this one...
The other exciting part of today... Jack and I ate brie and drank wine (in a paper cup) in the library with Sydney tonight.
