the female gaze

Look with your eyes, not with your hands.

Such a minute fraction of this life do we live: so much is sleep, tooth-brushing, waiting for mail, for metamorphosis, for those sudden moments of incandescence: unexpected, but once one knows them, one can live life in the light of their past and the hope of their future.

Lisa Gets Her Groove Back

Well, it's time to go. Just packing up the bulk of my stuff and then getting on the road to go to New York. I'll be back in CT for Kristin's graduation party / graduation, so if I leave things at home now, that's okay, I just need to make sure I am set for two weeks. (june 14th weekend, and then wed june 19th through Sunday).

My job actually starts on Tuesday and then we have an all museum intern day on Wednesday, so fingers crossed for a group that's half as fun and exciting as last year! (that's already asking too much)

Things might be crazy and exhausting this week (getting up early, walking city blocks, having long days...) but as soon as I get into a routine I'll update you on my exciting life as a curatorial intern. I'll try to keep this updated to the best of my ability, but you can always drop me an email to check in too!
