Sometimes... all you need is a good dinner with pretentious art people who are unabashed about success and wealth, Toqueville's Democracy in America, a big cup of coffee, and sitting at the grille listening to your debate partner (with his shoelaces untied) play the sitar, guitar, and sing Leonard Cohen songs, and then a nice hot shower... today got pulled out of the gutter sometime around 4pm, which is all in all, a very good thing.
