the female gaze

Look with your eyes, not with your hands.

Such a minute fraction of this life do we live: so much is sleep, tooth-brushing, waiting for mail, for metamorphosis, for those sudden moments of incandescence: unexpected, but once one knows them, one can live life in the light of their past and the hope of their future.

A grad student muses on her life, film, friends, politics, reality televizzle, and music.

Double Your Pleasure

So my damn presidency exam is ancient history. I think I did fine - so I don't know if this is reason to celebrate or worry. The final essay question was big, encompassing, and vague - so I don't know how well I did. The IDs were harder than I expected but thankfully worth all of 2 points each. Now I want to sit and forget all of that executive misery and drink, sadly, everyone's "working" or something. Losers.

Since I need a break, I just made a NEW BLOG - but this is for the Middlebury Debate Society, past, present, and future. I hope the whole administrator business works out okay. Let me know if you have questions or problems. Time will tell if this is a blogfriendly crew.
