Such a minute fraction of this life do we live: so much is sleep, tooth-brushing, waiting for mail, for metamorphosis, for those sudden moments of incandescence: unexpected, but once one knows them, one can live life in the light of their past and the hope of their future.

oh my, ebay is the greatest thing ever. How did I go this long without it? If all goes well - in a few days - and for $40 I'll be the owner of a snazzy black patent leather clutch purse from the 1950s, old school scrabble, old school risk, trivial pursuit 1980s, trivial pursuit silver screen, and a new gameboy of my own (mom and dad won't give up the one we currently have, but this is a circa 1992 one with tetris). It's the best thing ever. I am never buying board games full price again!! Well, assuming this comes through for the better.
