The good news was in fact, good It's official, I am a Graduate student, and a PhD candidate if I choose to make good on it. I just got word that I am into University of Wisconsin at Madison. Guaranteed funding through a TA-ship, tuition waiver, insurance - I am a regular old adult. I plan to make the trek out to Madison in early or late March depending on any other midwestern schools I may want to look at on my trip, but then I'll be more prepared to make an informed decision. Now I can rest assured, there is a plan, someone wants me, and someone is finally willing to put their money where their mouth it. Red is a good color on me. This is very reassuring and good news. |
